Former NIRVANA Bassist Testifies At Senate Hearing

Washington's The Olympian is reporting that former NIRVANA bassist Krist Novoselic provided star power for last week's Senate hearing on replacing the primary. Clad in a sober business suit and sounding as serious as a banker, he testified on his plan for 11 legislative "superdistricts," an overhaul that would eliminate the need for legislative primaries. It was Novoselic's first appearance in Olympia since he expressed an interest in running for lieutenant governor as a Democrat.
